SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – A Victorville man was arrested on Monday, January 21, 2019, for a San Bernardino shooting that left one man dead.
On Monday, January 14, 2019, at around 4:25 p.m. San Bernardino Police were dispatched to a home located at 632 Crescent Avenue in the City of San Bernardino. When police arrived at the home they found 45-year-old Richard Sams dead at the scene.
The investigation led police to the home of Corey LaPaul Herring, 28, at the Newporter Apartments located at 15251 Seneca Road in the City of Victorville. Herring was arrested without incident and was booked at the Central Detention Center. He is being held in lieu of $1 million bail. There is no known motive at this time.
