VICTORVILLE – A 41-year-old Victorville man was arrested for the theft of a cell phone and a laptop from a city-contracted worker’s vehicle on Monday morning.
The city contracted worker was performing work on Bow String Street when he noticed that a laptop computer and cell phone were stolen out of the vehicle. He reported the theft to authorities who quickly responded to the scene and located Kenyon Brown in the area.
Brown was found to be in possession of the stolen property. The property was returned to the worker and Brown was booked into the High Desert Detention Center. Brown is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile, he is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
