VICTORVILLE – A Victorville man was arrested for the theft and possession of a stolen vehicle on Thursday. Michael Haro, 26, was found to be in the possession of a 1991 maroon colored Honda CRX that was stolen from a North Willow home in the City of Rialto on Thursday at around 3:30 a.m.
The victim reported the stolen vehicle to the Rialto Police, who broadcasted the vehicle information to surrounding law enforcement agencies authorities said. Hours later at 12:21 p.m. deputies from the Victor Valley station located in the covered with a car cover in the backyard of a home in the 14200 block of Maricopa Road in Victorville. Victor Valley Station officials said that Haro had already begun stripping the vehicle.
Haro was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for Grand Theft Auto and the Possession of Stolen Property.
