VICTORVILLE – The suspect involved in the shooting in the Victorville Home Depot parking lot was arrested on Wednesday night authorities said.
After following leads, Homicide investigators identified the suspect involved in the shooting as Robert Curry, 31, of Victorville. A $1 million arrest warrant was issued and Curry was arrested without incident on Wednesday evening at around 5:15 p.m. in the 12400 block of Ava Loma Street. Curry was booked for the murder at High Desert Detention Center.
Investigators determined that the victim Robert Curtis, 28, was meeting with the individual to purchase a large quantity of marijuana and a struggle ensued. Curry, who was nearby approached Curtis and shot him multiple times.
