Victorville Man Arrested for the Home Depot Shooting Murder of Robert Curtis

VICTORVILLE – The suspect involved in the shooting in the Victorville Home Depot parking lot was arrested on Wednesday night authorities said.

After following leads, Homicide investigators identified the suspect involved in the shooting as Robert Curry, 31, of Victorville.  A $1 million arrest warrant was issued and Curry was arrested without incident on Wednesday evening at around 5:15 p.m. in the 12400 block of  Ava Loma Street. Curry was booked for the murder at High Desert Detention Center.

Investigators determined that the victim Robert Curtis, 28, was meeting with the individual to purchase a large quantity of marijuana and a struggle ensued. Curry, who was nearby approached Curtis and shot him multiple times.

  • It was not surprising to me of this news that maybe these two individuals might have been meeting up for some shady purpose.
    Sad to say they come to do it here in Victorville where we shop.
    My hubby goes there all the time. He, or innocent bystanders could have gotten killed or injured by stray bullets.
    This wickedness gas got to stop.

      This was my best friend son and I don’t care how you look at it he didn’t come for a gun fight and yes it wrong to do that type of stuff but at the end of the day he’s gone and it was her only son and no body asked if you or your husband shop there he has a family to and he gone so keep your shad to your self

      Wow!!! No compassion 4 the dead…. mess like that could had occurred anywhere. Beverly Hills, Hollywood or celebrity mansions. U could be at home asleep and get hit by a stray bullet. LIFE IS UNPREDICTABLE 😳
