Man Stabbed to Death in Downtown Victorville

BARSTOW – A 29-year-old Victorville man was arrested for having unlawful sex with a 15-year-old girl authorities said. The report was made to the Barstow Police Department on Friday, January 27, 2017, just before 10:00 a.m. The teen told authorities that she met the man, later identified by the victim as 29-year-old Francisco Briceno Jr., through a bowling league that she is part of. The teen said that she invited Briceno, who she had known for around 6 months to her home in January 2017.

While at her home her and Briceno had sexual intercourse. Detectives assumed the investigation and found evidence that supported the victim’s statement. The victim also positively identified Briceno in a photo lineup. Further evidence was collected by Barstow Police Department Evidence Technicians. Briceno was contacted in the 13500 block of Princeton Drive in the City of Victorville and placed him under arrest. Briceno was interviewed and booked into the High Desert Detention Center in the City of Adelanto for lewd and lascivious acts with a child, oral copulation of a child, and sexual penetration of a minor. He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
