One of the two ejected was pronounced dead at the scene and the other four occupants were transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. Blakely was not at the scene when deputies arrived and was later located at his home. He was taken into custody for vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence, hit and run resulting in death and/or injury, and reckless driving. He is being held in lieu of $100000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday afternoon.
