Wife Arrested for 2015 Murder of Victorville Man

VICTORVILLE – Authorities are asking for assistance to locate a Victorville man who is wanted for distributing a video with a minor female engaged in sexual activity with multiple male subjects.

Sheriff’s officials were made aware by an administrator at Goodwill High School who told them that the video was circulating on social media. It was learned that Tyrese Lawrence, 18, was involved in sexual activity with the 17-year-old girl at his home in the 12400 block of Freeport Road, in Victorville. While he was sexually involved with the girl, nine other males entered the room, some engaging in sexual conduct with the girl, others watching and at least one using a cell phone to record. The group of males shared the video and shared the video on social media.

An extensive investigation was launched leading to the arrest of Derick Corleone Smith, 18, of Adelanto, and eight other male juveniles; four age 17-years-old, three age 16-years-old, and one 15-years-old. Smith was booked at High Desert Detention Center. The juveniles were booked at High Desert Juvenile Detention Center.

Tyrese Williams Lawrence is still at large. The Victorville Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating Lawrence.
