VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A 5th grade teacher at Baldwin Academy in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District was arrested for the possession and distribution of child pornography.
Steven Victor Pilar, 43, of Victorville, was part of an investigation into the downloading, possession, and distribution of child pornography. The investigation led authorities to a home in the 11900 block of Autumn Wind Lane in the City of Victorville. On Thursday, April 22, 2020, authorities served a search warrant at the home of Pilar.
Investigators made contact with Pilar at the home. An interview was conducted and Pilar was subsequently arrested. During the search, over 1000 images and videos containing child pornography were confiscated as evidence. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center and posted bail on April 22nd and was released on bail.
