VICTORVILLE – Just in time for holiday season cleaning, the City of Victorville is offering residents the opportunity to dump their unwanted items for no charge. This will make both house and yard clean up easier for residents. The event will be on Saturday, November 18, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Victor Valley Materials Recovery Facility, located at 17000 Abbey Lane, off of Stoddard Wells Road in the City of Victorville.
The event is for Victorville city residents only, those who participate must have identification and proof of address. Residents are encouraged to dispose of items such as garden trimmings, broken fences, old furniture, mattresses, appliances, scrap metal, cardboard boxes, and even extra trash. No tires, TVs, computers, hazardous waste, paint, oil, compressed cylinders, dirt, or asbestos materials will be accepted.
