VICTORVILLE – Victorville’s 20th annual Veterans Day parade and Ceremony is coming on Friday, November 11, 2016, and city officials want to remind motorists of street closures. From 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., 7th Street between Mojave Drive and B Street will be closed. No traffic will be able to drive on or across 7th Street through the parade route during this time. There will be detour signs, but motorists are advised to plan ahead.
The events will kick off at 8:55 a.m. with the Freedom Mile Run and the parade will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the corner of Tracy and 7th Streets. The Ceremony follows the parade at 7th Street and Forrest Avenue.
