VICTORVILLE, Ca. – The motive is still under investigation but an arrest has been made in the killing of a 50-year-old Victorville woman.
Authorities said that Lori Lynn Kyler, 50, was a transient most recently staying in the Victorville area. On Friday, July 17, 2020, at around 10:42 a.m. sheriff’s dispatch received a report that a body had been located at a motel room in the 15400 block of Park Avenue East.
Through investigation it was learned that Typrice Freeman, 36, also a transient in Victorville, was involved in her murder. On Sunday, July 19, 2020 at around 4:00 a.m., a deputy from the Victorville station located Freeman in the City of Victorville. He was found to be in possession of stolen property. He was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. Freeman was asked about the death of Lori Lynn Kyler and at the conclusion of the interview, he was booked for murder. He is being held without bail at the High Desert Detention Center. He is scheduled in court on Tuesday, July 22, 2020.
