VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A 19-year-old Victorville transient was arrested over a week after a burglarizing at a Panda Express.
Erandy Laguna walked up to the drive-thru window in the Crossroads at 395 shopping center on US-395 at 10:45 p.m. on April 13th. The business was closed for the day, so Laguna was told by the employees that they were unable to serve her. Laguna became angry and threw rocks at the window. She forced the window open and climbed inside.
The employees hid, fearing Laguna would harm them. Laguna tried to open the cash registers but was unsuccessful,” said Victorville Sheriff’s station spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “She grabbed multiple items from countertops and threw them around the restaurant and fled.”
Detectives were able to identify Laguna by using the information provided by witnesses and by using other investigative leads. Deputies from the Victorville Station located Laguna near the Walmart Store located on Palmdale Road in the Crossroads at 395 shopping center.
She was arrested for burglary and was subsequently booked at the High Desert Detention Center. She is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Thursday, April 25, 2019.
