VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A 48-year-old Victorville woman was arrested for terrorizing her adult son and female roommate, and for kicking, spitting on, and attempting to bite a responding deputy.
On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at around 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to the River Ranch Mobile Home Park in located in the 15900 block of Stoddard Wells Road in the City of Victorville for an unknown disturbance. The reporting party told dispatchers that a woman was breaking things inside of a mobile home and may be armed with a weapon. When they arrived they determined that Ginger Jane Moran lived at the residence with her adult son and another adult female. Moran allegedly punched her son and threatened to kill him and the female roommate with a large machete.
Deputies located Moran, still in possession of a machete, in a bedroom inside the residence. During their attempt to detain her she kicked, spit on and attempted to bite one of the deputies. Moran was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon, threatening crime with intent to terrorize, obstructing/resisting an officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance, battery on a person and exhibiting a deadly weapon.
