GREAT FALLS, MT – A Montana woman was arrested after breaking into her ex-boyfriends home with a machete and forcing him to have sex with her.
On Friday, June 22, 2018, police officers from the Great Falls, Montana Police Department responded to the home of Samantha Ray Mears ex-boyfriend. When they got there they learned that Mears waited for the victim to return home. When he returned, she snuck up behind him with the machete and demanded that he got naked on his bed. Authorities said that she removed her pants and while still holding the machete, began having sex with him. He asked her to stop but she refused and according to the victim, Mears bit him and then purposely urinated on his bed.
Fearing for his safety, her ex-boyfriend, who was a victim of a domestic violence case with Mears only days prior complied. During the attack, police said that Mears strangulated the victim. When she was finished having sex with the victim he called 911 acting as though he was calling a friend. The victim heard when his sister returned home during the incident and fearing for her safety, he sent a text message to her telling her to leave. He was then able to exit the home also.
Mears, who the officers report appeared to be suffering from a mental health condition, remained inside the home with a machete. When officers made contact with her, she reported to the officers that the victim kidnapped her and she was using the machete in self-defense.
Mears was arrested for Aggravated Burglary, Assault with a Weapon, Assault, Restraint, and Criminal Mischief. She is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
