PALMDALE, Calif. – One woman is deceased and a man is badly injured after a possible DUI traffic collision on Sunday night.
At around 9:38 p.m., deputies and detectives responded to the intersection of 110th Street East and Avenue O in the City of Palmdale. Authorities said that a Hispanic man was driving a 2015 Jeep Cherokee northbound on 110th Street East. He failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Avenue O and collided with a 1997 Honda Civic being driven by a man with a female passenger, which was driving westbound on Avenue O.
The man and woman in the Honda Civic were transported to a local hospital where the man remains in critical condition. The woman died as a result of her injuries. The driver of the Jeep was arrested at the scene for possible DUI. The investigation is ongoing and no other information is available.
