APPLE VALLEY – A 24-year-old woman was successfully rescued after falling into an approximately 15’ deep sinkhole on Saturday night. At around 9:08 p.m. the woman was dropped off at a home in the 12700 block of Clallam Road in the Town of Apple Valley near Lone Eagle Road.
The woman, who called 911 to report the incident was stable during the call and subsequent rescue. Fire officials responded to the scene to find the woman in the sinkhole. Firefighters were able to rescue the woman from the sinkhole at around 9:22 p.m.
The woman sustained only minor injuries as a result of the incident. The type of injuries are unknown at this time, information will be updated when it is received.
