LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles County woman said that something told her to purchase lottery tickets so she did. Josefa Tapia went into the 7-Eleven located at 2377 West Pico Boulevard in the City of Los Angeles and bought $30 worth of Scratchers. She eagerly scratched off the tickets, to find that she won $1 million on the Million Dollar Multiplier Scratcher.
Tapia told Lottery officials that she once won $11,000 playing the SuperLotto Plus years ago. She said that this time she plans on purchasing a home for her and her two children. Tapia is not the only winner, the 7-Eleven where she made the purchase will also receive $5000 for selling a winning ticket.
