WRIGHTWOOD – A 87-year-old Wrightwood man lost his life after a traffic collision in the 5500 block of Acorn drive officials said.
On Friday, November 24, 2017, at around 6:55 a.m. Robert Vonch was riding his recreational vehicle not far from his home when for unknown reasons he lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene for injuries he sustained as a result of the collision.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
