WRIGHTWOOD – A 41-year-old Wrightwood man was arrested child molestation on Tuesday afternoon. Authoritities said that after the sexual abuse accusations were made, detectives began and investigation. The investigation led to the arrest of Michael Lee Ogborn, who was known to the victim and allegedly abused her for 18-24 months.
The arrest, according to inmate records was made at around 3:00 p.m. at Mountain High Resort. Ogborn was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. He is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Thursday afternoon.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no other information available for release.
