SLIDELL, LA. – Is it a crime? An emergency? Sounds almost like a combination of both. The Slidell Police Department in Louisiana was not sure how to handle a recent 911 call, on Sunday, June 4, 2019.
Mind you, it was only two days from Taco Tuesday and the caller stated that they were at the Taco Bell on Gause Boulevard where they ran out of both the hard and soft shell taco shells. Oddly, the restaurant, remained open while they were unable to serve any tacos.
“While this is truly a travesty, the police can’t do anything about this,” said the Slidell Police officials. “Hopefully, they are replenished in time for Taco Tuesday!”
