MIAMI, Fl. – A Miami, Florida, woman was arrested over a month after attacking a Burger King employee who refused to give her free fries, police said.
In early April 2019, Natasha Ethel Bagley, 42, allegedly went through the drive-thru with her girlfriend, Genesis Peguero. The two, who were in a black SUV demanded free fries from the employee. The employee refused, according to court records, and a few minutes later the pair parked and went inside the restaurant.
Bagley distracted the employees, while Peguero allegedly jumped over the counter, acted as though she possessed a firearm and demanded all the money from the registers. In addition, she threatened to strike the employees in the head with the nonexistent weapon as she kept her hands inside her pocket, police said.
The manager attempted to call the police, but Peguero pulled the phone from her and struck her in her face. Both suspects fled the location but Bagley was later identified by a Burger King employee leading to her Monday, May 27, 2019, arrest. Bagley was booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, for Burglary with Battery/Assault, Armed Robbery, and Criminal Mischief. Bagley is facing a maximum of life in prison and is being held without bail.
Peguero has not yet been located or arrested.
