SOUTH GATE, Calif. – Authorities are attempting to locate a suspect who allegedly slashed the face of a woman who was walking in South Gate.
On Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at around 11:09 a.m., the suspect who was riding a bicycle slashed the face of a woman in front of the Bakery Penjamo located at 4468 Firestone Boulevard in South Gate. There have been two similar incidents in the City of Lynwood that authorities believe the same suspect was involved in. Authorities said in a news release that they are seeking video of the suspect who is described as an approximately 30-year-old man. 5’06” tall, dark skin, and a shaved head. He was last seen wearing dark-colored clothing.
The bicycle that he was riding was mountain-style bicycle that appears to have oversized tires. It may also have a white sticker near the front tire fork.
