GARDENA – A 50-year-old woman was found suffering from multiple stab wounds in her Gardena church parking lot on Wednesday evening.
Deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to 14500 block of South San Pedro Street in an unincorporated area of Gardena where they located the woman, later identified as 50-year-old Patricia Harrison, of Lynwood. Patricia Harrison was on the ground suffering from multiple stab wounds. Ms. Harrison was treated at the scene and was then rushed to the hospital where she died as a result of her injuries. The weapon has not yet been recovered, and the suspect has been identified as 55-year-old Kevin Darnell Dickson.
Dickson is believed to be an ex-boyfriend of Patricia Harrison. Authorities believe that he is driving a silver 2003 Jaguar sedan license plate number 5XZP532 or a dark blue 2010 Mercedes 2-door license plate number 7WZP946. Dickson is believed to be suicidal and may be armed and dangerous.
