BARSTOW – A 58-year-old Barstow man was arrested after deputies located heroin and methamphetamine for the purpose of sale at his home on Tuesday. Deputies from the Barstow Station and a Sheriff’s K9 unit served a search warrant at a home located in the 1100 block of Borrego Drive in the City of Barstow. The search warrant was obtained after authorities received information of possible drug activity at the home.
When deputies arrived they made contact with Kurt Herman, who was at the residence. The search yielded approximately 2 pounds of methamphetamine, heroin, and a large amount of cash. Herman was booked into the Barstow Jail for the possession of heroin for sales and possession of methamphetamine for sales. He is being held on $300,000.00 bail.
