LEBEC – A man and woman who the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau would like to question about a recent murder are believed to have the children belonging to the murdered woman.
The body of Kimberly Harvill was located in the brush in a remote area north of SR-138 on Gorman Post Road in Lebec on Sunday, August 14, 2016. The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s deputies and rescue personnel responded to the call after a motorist made the shocking discovery. Harvill was determined to have suffered from head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Joshua Robertson and Brittany Humphrey were last to be seen with the victims three minor children (Joslynn Watkins, 2 Brayden Watkins, 3 and Rylee Watkins 5) and authorities believe that they have fled the state. The two are now wanted for kidnapping as well as questioning regarding Harvill’s death. A warrant is issued for the arrest of both, who should not be approached as they are believed to be armed and dangerous. If seen, detectives request that you immediately contact law enforcement.
Joshua Robertson is on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) and has previous weapon-related charges. Robertson and Humphrey are believed to be driving the victim’s green 1999 Ford Expedition. The license plate may be CA #7BEK024 or possibly paper plates. The two suspects are believed to have the three children, who are listed as “Missing Persons at Risk” in the law enforcement data base.
