A 47-year-old Chino Hills man is wanted in connection with a September 2017, Rancho Cucamonga auto and property theft authorities said.
Deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded on the September morning to the 10900 block of Terra Vista Parkway regarding the report of a stolen white 1995 Honda Civic and a Dell Laptop computer that was inside the vehicle. Deputies did not have any immediate investigative leads but did locate the stolen vehicle in the City of Chino Hills. The investigation was assumed by the Detective Bureau, who developed additional leads. These leads led to search warrants and the suspect, identified as Sean David Denevan, of Chino Hills.
On May 3, 2018, at just before 5:30 a.m. the search was served on two locations where Denevan lived. During the search, stolen property was identified and recovered. Denevan was not at either location but a warrant is issued for his arrest.
Denevan was not at the locations at the time of service of the search warrants. An arrest warrant has been issued for his arrest.
