COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. – A man who was murdered helped authorities to identify the suspect after his cell phone was found near his body.
On Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at around 6:22 p.m. after an ongoing dispute with his neighbor, Gary Dolce, 63, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, was gunned down. Police and the Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to the 1800 block of Rimwood Drive and found Dolce lying on the ground. He had visible gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene.A paramedic found a cell phone in the area and noticed that it was recording. He viewed the recording, which showed James Hanlon, 53, shooting. Also captured on the cell phone video was Hanlon’s blue Toyota 4Runner.
