CORONA, Calif. – Dispatchers received a call reporting that there was a man down on the front lawn of a Corona home.
When Corona Fire officials and additional emergency medical personnel responded, they learned that the male patient was caring for his yard when for unknown reasons he fell ill and collapsed. The patient was treated at the scene and was transported to a local hospital for additional treatment.
Several firefighters decided to help the resident out by finishing the mowing of his front and back yard.
Corona Fire officials tweeted, “Serving our community with pride and the best customer service possible is our goal.”
