BARSTOW – The City of Barstow, in order to combat illegal dumping and to give residents an opportunity legally dispose of unwanted items, is having a free dump day.
This dump day will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Residents will be allowed to bring items including electronics, green waste, scrap metal, appliances, mattresses, box springs, trash and up to 4 tires.
This will not be held at the landfill but will be at the Public works yard located at 900 South Avenue H in the south parking lot.
