POMONA, Calif. – A 24-year-old Long Beach man was shot dead leaving a Pomona party on Saturday.
As several partygoers walked to their vehicles at the Park and Ride near 1800 block of Gillette Road in the City of Pomona, shots were fired. Budd Rashad Jamal was shot and died at the scene of the shooting. It is unclear if Jamal was the intended target and the motive is unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
