Man Arrested for Attempting to Rape Modesto Woman After Climbing in her Window Naked

MODESTO, Calif. – A woman who was sleeping in her home when a naked burglar broke her window and without clothing on, climbed in.

On Friday, June 28, 2019, the woman was sleeping, when she heard the glass of a window break in her home. Immediately, she got out of bed and checked to see what the sound was. As she entered the room, Bobby Kinder Jr., 38, of Modesto, was climbing through the broken window naked. As the wide-eyed victim watched, Kinder told her that he was going to rape her before he pushed her onto the bed. While on the bed he punched her, and bit her authorities said.

Kinder went to get some water, during that time, the victim escaped and went to a neighbor’s home. They neighbor allowed her in and called 911. The suspect went to the door shortly after but they did not let him in. He remained outside and the police arrived and arrested him for burglary, assault with intent to commit rape, criminal threats, and attempted rape.
