GOSHEN, Calif. – A Goshen man was arrested after it as learned that he threw a pet bunny against the wall, killing it.
At around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at around 10:30 a.m. deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Station responded to a home in Goshen, near the City of Visalia. When they arrived they learned that a man identified as suspect Dorian Mendoza and his girlfriend got into an argument as he was moving out of the home. The argument was about the 4-month-old pet rabbit that Mendoza had purchased for their 2-year-old daughter.
Dorian grabbed the pet rabbit named, “Bunny” and threw it into the wall. Bunny died instantly as a result of the poor treatment. Mendoza for animal cruelty and an active arrest warrant for the possession of a sawed-off shotgun. Mendoza was booked into jail.
