CORONA, Calif. – The man who jumped to his death from the 15 freeway onto the 91 freeway on Saturday was identified as a 42-year-old Fullerton man.
CHP officials said that Jason Birrell parked his vehicle on the 15 freeway, got out of his vehicle, and jumped off of the overpass. As his body landed on the roadway several vehicles struck him. Birrell was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:42 p.m.
