LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A Monrovia man was sentenced to life in prison for the kidnapping and sexual assault of four women.
Los Angeles County District attorney officials said that he would lure the woman by offering them money or drugs in exchange for sex. He preyed upon women anywhere from 22-years-old to 60-years-old. In February 2012, Jason Chung Chien Yu, 43, kidnapped a woman to rape her. He beat and sodomised two women four years later. Another woman was kidnapped and sexually assaulted in February 2017.
Yu was found guilty last month of three counts of sodomy by use of force, two counts each of kidnapping to commit rape, assault to commit rape and false imprisonment and one count each of forcible rape, forcible oral copulation and criminal threats.
