DALLAS, TX. – Allegedly jealous about her ex-boyfriend’s new love interest, Brenda Delgado planned and hired someone to murder Dallas Texas dentist, Kendra Hatcher.
In a murder-for-hire plot, Delgado hired Kristopher Love to carry out the murder. Love was promised drugs in exchange for his services; while Crystal Cortes was offered $500 to serve as a getaway driver from what she was told would be a robbery.
On September 2, 2015, Hatcher was found shot dead in the parking garage of her Dallas apartment. Cortes and Love were both charged with capital murder just days after the shooting, while Delgado, a Mexican citizen fled the country after an investigator interview. A federal arrest warrant was issued on October 7, 2015, for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution,
Only two days after becoming one of the only a handful of women placed on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list with a $100,000 reward for information directly leading to her arrest Delgado was arrested in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico.
On Thursday, October 6, 2016, after completion of extradition proceedings, Delgado was extradited from Mexico to the United States to face capital murder charges. Delgado now remains in the custody of Dallas, Texas Police.
