INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – The Indian Wells Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify a bank robbery suspect.
On Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at around 9:27 a.m., police responded to the report of a robbery at the Pacific Western Bank located at 74700 Highway 111 in Indian Wells. When they arrived they learned that the suspect entered the bank. He walked up to an employee and presented a demand note. The employee handed the suspect and undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a White or Hispanic man in his mid-30’s to early 40’s, he is around 250 pounds, and around 6’ tall. He was last seen wearing a black beanie, a black button-down shirt, and a long black coat.
