POMONA – A 34-year-old woman was shot and killed during a Pomona shooting, Saturday afternoon. Pomona police heard gunshots in the area of Holt and San Antonio Avenues at around 3:30 p.m.
Police were able to locate and stop the two involved vehicles, one of which had two gunshot wound victims. The male victim, Demar Jacobs, 39 of Chino Hills suffered only superficial gunshot wounds and was treated at the scene. The female victim, Deborah Gutierrez, 34 from Arizona suffered critical gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital where she died as a result of her injuries.
Robert Bogan , 23 of Pomona was located in a 2000 Cadillac DTS and was taken into custody. Authorities believe he is the only suspect in the shooting. The handgun believed to be used in the crime was also recovered.
