RANCHO CUCAMONGA – A 13-year-old boy was arrested for taking a handgun on to school the campus of a Rancho Cucamonga Middle School on Wednesday. The school was made aware of the student having the handgun on campus. The Rancho Cucamonga Police School Resource Officer made contact with the student and located handgun.
The School Resource Officer took possession of the handgun and interviewed the student. The student was taken into custody, interview and booked into Juvenile Hall for the possession of a handgun on school campus.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information for release at this time.
