TEMECULA, Calif. – A 36-year-old Temecula man was arrested for a sexual assault that occurred early Friday morning.
At around 4:22 a.m., police responded to the area of Rancho California and Ynez Roads in response to the report of a sexual assault. The victim said that she was assaulted by the suspect at a townhome in the 44000 block of Bellflower Lane in the City of Temecula. The suspect was identified as Mark Richard Neeley II.
A search warrant was served at Neeley’s home. During the search evidence corroborating the accusation was collected as evidence. Neeley was arrested at the conclusion of the search, authorities said. Other victims have been identified and have made similar accusations against Neeley. The newly reported incidents will be investigated.
He was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center on charges involving sex acts and his bail was set at $1,000,000. Based on the circumstances of the investigation, it appears there could be other victims who have not come forward at this time.
