MIAMI BEACH, Fl. – UFC star Conor McGregor, 30, was arrested by the Miami Beach Police Department for strong-arm robbery and criminal mischief on Monday morning.
Authorities said that at around 5:20 a.m., McGregor and the victim were leaving the Fontainebleau Hotel, located at 4441 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida. The victim attempted to take a picture of McGregor with his cell phone. McGregor allegedly slapped the victim’s phone out of his hand, causing it to fall on the ground. McGregor then stomped on the phone several times causing damage to it and then picked up the phone and walked away with it.
The victim told authorities that the phone was valued at $1000. McGregor was located and arrested.
