SANTA ANA, Ca. – A terrified woman ran into the Victorville Sheriff’s Station last week after escaping from a kidnapping suspect.
Authorities said that on Wednesday, December 21, 2020, they received a call from a friend of the victim reporting that the victim had been kidnapped at gunpoint from the Santa Ana hotel room that they were sharing.
The suspect, later identified as 35-year-old Adrian Marcellus Alloway, allegedly took the woman from the La Quinta Inn and Suites, located at 2721 Hotel Terrace and to the City of Victorville where he lives.
The woman eventually freed herself and went to the Victorville Sheriff’s Station for help on Thursday, December 22nd. Through hotel surveillance and witness statements, corroborated the victim’s statements and identified Alloway as the suspect.
On Tuesday, December 29, 2020, Alloway was located and arrested in the City of Victorville. He was found to have a handgun in his possession. He is being held without bail at the Theo Lacy Detention Center.
Alloway has had numerous arrests in San Bernardino County in the last 15 years. The most recent was on August 23, 2020, for attempting to rape a 20-year-old woman and for raping a 15-year-old girl in the City of Victorville. There is no information about the outcome of this case. A 24/7 Headline News reporter requested information from the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s office.
