HELENDALE – Deputies conducted a proactive patrol which included a probation and parole compliance operation in Helendale and Silver Lakes on Thursday. The operation was conducted by the Victor Valley Station, San Bernardino County Probation, and State Parole officers from 2:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Multiple arrests were made by the thirteen officers assigned to the operation including three felony arrests, and nine misdemeanor violations.
The felony arrests included one for a THC extraction laboratory and the others included various probation violations. The misdemeanor violations included driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and outstanding warrants. Also, deputies were able to identify and document two gang members.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials said that these events are part of the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department’s ongoing efforts to enhance safety in the communities it serves.
