A Good Neighbor’s Deed Caught on Surveillance

REDLANDS – A Redlands woman said that she walked by her the screen for her home surveillance camera to see that there was a man her yard. This was not an intruder, a salesman, or just a random man, this man was removing weeds from her yard.

Since I do not have a yard man I assumed he was doing the wrong yard and went to investigate,” said Redlands resident Tammie King. “Turns out he had taken a free grill that we put on the curb a week or so ago and just wanted to “pay” us for the grill in his trade.”

King shared the amazing news with Redlands Buzz 2.0, a Redlands Facebook group. The woman thanked the man who she found out lived on the street behind her. King said that after he said where she lived, she realized that the man named Don is the same person who always has an elaborate Christmas display on Frontier Avenue each year.
