MENTONE, Calif. – Authorities are attempting to identify two male suspects who burglarized Redland’s East Valley High School on Sunday.
Deputies from the Yucaipa Station responded to the Mentone school when school staff reported that locks were cut off of storage containers and music equipment was missing. The staff reviewed the surveillance footage, which captured a dark-colored vehicle that appeared to be a new Chevy Trailblazer 4-door with tinted windows and paper plates entering the parking lot. An adult male with black hair, black sunglasses, who was wearing a brown t-shirt and blue jeans got out of the passenger side of the vehicle. A second suspect, a white man in his 30’s-40’s was wearing a gray hat with gray facial hair, dark sweater and blue jeans is observed walking towards the storage containers.
Soon after, the vehicle exited the parking lot. Anyone with information regarding the vehicle or the male involved, you are asked to contact the Yucaipa Sheriff’s Station at (909) 918-2300.
