Adelanto Man Arrested for Raping a Woman he Met on a Dating Website

ADELANTO – A 37-year-old Adelanto man was arrested for the rape of a woman that he met on the dating website, Plenty of Fish officials said.

On Saturday, October 1, 2016, at around 1:40 a.m. the victim, also an Adelanto resident reported to deputies that she met a man who went by the name “Bruno” on the dating website. She allowed him to meet her at her home, where she said that the 6’5” tall approximately 200 pound suspect forcibly raped her.

Through investigation, detectives from the Victor Valley Station were able to identify the suspect as Bruce Tucker. Deputies obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect, and on Tuesday, October 12, 2016, Tucker was arrested in the 11500 block of White Avenue in the City of Adelanto.

Tucker was booked into the High Desert Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail. He is scheduled at the Victorville Superior Court on Friday, October 14, 2016, for an arraignment hearing.
