ADELANTO – Victor Valley Station deputies and the Sheriff’s helicopter (40-king) responded to a burglary in progress on Thursday evening.
At around 7:03 p.m. the reporting party called to report that an approximately 30-year-old Hispanic man entered the home in the 11400 block of La Jolla Court near Delicious Street. The reporting party went on to report that the suspect brandished a knife and was upstairs inside of the home.
The male suspect was described as having tattoos on his head and face. The reporting party said that the suspect was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt and khaki-colored shorts. While the sheriff’s helicopter was overhead they could see the male and female arguing on the driveway of the home.
Deputies arrived at the scene and placed the apparently tased suspect into custody. It is unclear if the suspect was tased by the deputies or the resident who had a walking cane in one hand and an unknown black object in the other. There is no additional information at this time, information will be updated as it becomes available.
