Alabama Twin Brother Teachers Both Accused of Sex Crimes Against Students

Two Alabama teachers, who are also twin brothers, were both accused of sex crimes against students earlier this month.

On Saturday, October 3, 2020, Dustin Wade Dalton, 29, of Rainsville, was arrested for child enticement and disseminating obscene material. Dustin Dalton was a teacher at DeKalb County Schools. He also coached for both boys and girls tennis and boys basketball and volleyball.

Days later on Thursday, October 8, 2020, his twin brother, a Fort Payne School Special Education teacher was also arrested.  Donavan Wayne Dalton, 28, of Rainsville, was arrested for sexual contact with a student. In addition to teaching, Donavan Dalton was a girls basketball and tennis coach. As a result of the arrest, Donavan Dalton resigned on Friday, October 9, 2020.

He is being held on $150,000 bail and according to county District Attorney’s said that additional charges are pending.
