HESPERIA, Ca. – A 24-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for possession of child pornography.
Authorities began investigating a cybertip from the suspect’s Electronic Service Provider (ESP) indicating that he was in possession of videos and photos containing child pornography. It was determined through investigation that the account belonged to Jeremiah Jacob Silverira.
On Friday, October 30, 2020, at around 11:50 a.m. authorities made contact with Silverira at his home in the 10300 block of Kern Avenue in the City of Hesperia. Silverira was interviewed and subsequently arrested for possession of child pornography. He was booked into the High Desert Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $150,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
