ADELANTO – A Los Angeles homicide suspect was located and arrested in the City of Adelanto officials said.
On Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at around 10:26 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley station were notified by the Los Angeles Police Department that an armed and dangerous homicide suspect was believed to be in the City of Adelanto. The LAPD requested that the Victor Valley station assisted in the arrest of suspect Pasqual Palomares, a 47-year-old, Los Angeles man who they believed committed a fatal shooting and fled to the High Desert in a stolen vehicle. Through investigation, the LAPD determined that it was likely that Palomares was staying with his family in Adelanto.
Deputies responded to the 20700 block of Aster Road and located the stolen vehicle. They surrounded the home and made PA announcements until the suspect exited the home and was taken into custody. No one inside the home was injured and the gun was located in the home. The gun is believed to be the gun that was used in the homicide.
