SAN BERNARDINO – A 76 Gas Station store clerk was attacked by an unidentified suspect late last month authorities said. Authorities are now seeking any information that may lead them to the suspect who attacked the store clerk during an argument at the store located at 1933 W. Highland Avenue on Wednesday, February 28th at around 5:25 a.m.
Authorities said that the suspect pictured entered the store and got into an argument with the store clerk. The suspect began destroying display cases, causing the clerk to grab a baseball bat to protect himself. “The suspect began punching the clerk, disarmed him of the bat and used it to strike the victim in the head and shoulders,” police officials said in a written statement. “The victim ran from the suspect, but was chased out the front door and struck several more times with the bat.”
